February
24th Carpet Racing
Weekend two in the lead up to the Carpet Nationals in Omaha.
This week's track was very similar
to what we will be running for those going to Nats in a couple of
weeks.
Keep in mind that we will be running next weekend on the same track
layout (since we left the track up).
Steve Folle and Steve Rossi were really battling in the 19T touring
A-main, Rossi was able to get it done this time!
These two guys are really fast and their cars were working really well
in the main.
Looks like Adam is still the man to beat in rubber tire, but at least
he had some competition this weekend.
I think it had something to do with his warmed up Li-Po!
Steve Grubb was able to clean up in touring stock.
Russ Horton with his new (Stevo) cells was able to win the 19T 1/12th
scale A-Main.
Dave Hasset was able to fend off all of the others to win the 1/12th
stock A-Main.
Great job to all of the winners, and I hope you all had a good time.

President situation
The club officers and board members selected Steve Folle as
the new club President for the
remainder of 2008. This selection was only done because Mark resigned
in the middle of
his term. Next year we will hold a vote for all of the current officer
positions as we did
this last year. Steve will also remain at the VP of Asphalt.
~~Congratulations to Steve on this new position~~

New website look
When you get a chance check out the look of the website.
Thanks to Robert Chu and Art for all of their
hard work in getting the site updated.
Don't forget that Mario has the CORRC logo stickers for sale.
He is selling them for three dollars each and has both black and
silver versions available. Thanks Mario for creating these for the club.
Mario has also created the placement stickers for each of the top three
positions in each main. Thanks again Mario!
